Welcome to my Koudelka fansite!

Koudelka is a video game that was released for the PlayStation by Sacnoth in 1999. A marriage of survival horror and RPG, it was unique for its time. It served as the precursor to the more popular Shadow Hearts games, and while it received mixed reviews upon release, it has stood the test of time as a cult classic.

Koudelka is also my #1 favorite game. I first sat down to play it fairly recently, in August of 2024. I had learned about it from a Discord I was in and was intrigued by its combination of my two favorite genres. I was also getting into Retro Achievements, so I chose Koudelka as the first game I would attempt to master. I completed the mastery on August 10, scouring every nook and cranny of the game in the process. I came out of the experience with a detailed walkthrough of Koudelka embedded in my brain and a new favorite game.

This fansite aims to provide information on Koudelka's unique development process, its evocative story and characters, and some extra fun things like concept art and information about the real-life setting in Aberystwyth, Wales. You can navigate using the links above.
